Innovation for Africa is an inter-disciplinary hub. It presupposes that we can do more together than we can apart. Communities of interest are sub-groupings within Innovation for Africa that bring members within the same discipline to hold concentrated conversations and collaborations.
How do I join a Community of Interest?
When you become a member of Innovation for Africa, this entitles you to be part of one Community of Interest. You can join any other communities of interest on an additional subscription basis provided you have the necessary qualifications or professional experience.
What does a Community of Interest do?
The activities of the Community of Interest will be determined by the members with the help of the secretariat, but can vary in the form of events and programmes. The secretariat will help the Community of Interest build links with professional bodies, independent event organisers and other business stakeholders.

Yes, there is no limit to the number of communities of interest. To start a brand new one, a critical mass is needed of 15 members who share that same interest. Thereafter the Community of Interested will be set up and a section created for it on the website and in the magazine.
